Assessment date information will also be made available at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">To complete registration a non-refundable fee of $150 applies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The assessment comprises four parts, completed over a period of 3 to 5 hours with time allowed for a break. These are <strong>written<\/strong> tests, laptops not required.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Reading Comprehension<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Written Expression<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Mathematical Reasoning<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Abstract Reasoning<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The test materials will be sent to the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) in Melbourne for marking. We anticipate results within nine to ten weeks. Please do not contact the school or ACER in relation to the results. You will receive notification of results by email.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"x-container max width\" style=\"margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;\" ><div  class=\"x-column x-sm x-1-1\" style=\"padding: 0px;\" ><div class=\"x-text x-content e279-e20 m7r-k m7r-n m7r-p m7r-q\"><p class=\"block__heading h4\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The assessment is open to <strong>students in Year 6 at the time of the assessment.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>Please only apply<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>to one Ignite School.<\/strong>\u00a0Please register and sit the assessment at your first preference of Ignite School.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Students can only sit the assessment once.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Students from country or interstate Primary Schools can sit for the assessment at their primary school if approved by the school Principal and a teacher from the school is prepared to accept the responsibility for supervision. It is preferred that the student attend The Heights School for the assessment, if possible.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Students not residing in Australia at the time of the assessment cannot register to sit the assessment. Eligible families must be residing in Australia.\u00a0Ignite assessment cannot be administered overseas.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Visa Subclass 500 holders: International students on a 500 visa currently living and studying in South Australia. Student successes are celebrated.<\/p>\n<p>The Heights School provides a range of accelerated learning options for students.<\/p>\n<p>Students are selected for entry into the Ignite Program through an ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) assessment which is held once per year in February.
