The Heights Technical College

Set to open in 2026, The Heights Technical College will support students in years 10 to 12 to complete their SACE while undertaking vocational education and training (VET) in specialist state-of-the-art facilities.
The new technical college will complement the suite of learning programs and pathways already available at The Heights School, providing alternative training and education opportunities while in school. It aims to be one of the ways we help students get a head start in the career of their choosing by developing the technical and employability skills most needed by industries.
The Heights Technical College will offer industry training programs in:

  • Aeroskills - for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians in defence and also civil aviation
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering - for careers as fabricators, welders and engineers
  • Building and construction - for careers in the building and construction industry
  • Early Childhood and Education - for careers as Early Childhood workers and teachers

Employer partners will play a key role in developing and delivering the industry training programs and include BAE Systems, ASC and Boeing Australia.
