CELEBRATION IN THE COURTYARD – TUESDAY 11 DECEMBER 2018, 4.30 – 7.30PM

The Heights School students and staff would like to invite all families to attend the Celebration in the Courtyard end of year event on Tuesday 11th December, from 4.30pm – 7.30pm. Our theme this year is “Broadway Musicals”, students and staff have been working hard to perfect their musical items to entertain you on the night.

Celebration in the Courtyard will be held in the school “Courtyard”, which is the
covered outdoor area between the Admin building and the Primary Years building, seating will be provided for families in this area. There are toilets close by as well.

Food will be available to purchase from 4.30pm. The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden will also have a stall selling plants and goodies from the kitchen and garden. Programs are being sent home with more details.

At 5.30pm Children need to go to their classroom. Year 6 students meet their teacher in the Primary upstairs break out area. Rolls will be taken by the teachers and parents are not permitted in classrooms for the duration of the concert.

Parents are to be seated in the Courtyard ready for the Principal’s Welcome and Volunteer of the Year Award presentation at 5.45pm.

The performance will begin 6.00pm.

Children can be collected by one parent/caregiver from classrooms at the end of the performance at approximately 7.15pm. 601 and 603 can be collected from Primary upstairs break out area and 602 from the library. As all students are all in the finale they will be required to stay until the end.

Only staff and performing children are allowed upstairs. The audience needs to stay in the courtyard on the other side of the bunting. Please do not go on the balcony, behind the bunting or on any stairs. This is to keep our children safe as they negotiate balconies and stairs on their way to and from the stage for their performance. The balconies around the Courtyard will also be used as part of the performance so we need to keep this area clear please.

We hope you enjoy the show!

We would like to wish all families a safe and happy holiday.
