Krispy Kreme doughnut fundraiser

The School Volunteer Partnership is running a Krispy Kreme doughnut fundraiser.

Order forms will be sent home to families shortly. Additional forms can be collected from the Front Office or Finance Office.

One dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $20, one dozen Classic Assorted doughnuts (half/half) for $23. $5 from every box sold goes back to our school!

Please return order form with payment to the Finance Office or Class Teacher by Thursday 6th September 2018 (Week 7). No online payments will be accepted after 3pm on this day.

Orders can be collected from the Community Room on Wednesday 26th September 2018 (Week 10) between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm.

ICAS tests during week 2

For those students involved in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS), the following tests will be held during week 2:

Tuesday, 31st July 2018
Years 2-5 English during Lessons 3 & 4 in MG3
Years 6-12 English during Lessons 5 & 6 in MG3

Student Reports – published online 3pm Friday 6th July

A reminder to all families. This term, Student Reports will be published online through our web-based parent portal, Daymap Connect. The Parent Portal is available by going to: https://www.theheights.sa.edu.au/index.php/contact/daymap/

A letter has been sent home providing the information needed to login to Daymap Connect.
• For parents/caregivers of students in years Reception – 6, this was sent home earlier this term.
• For parents/caregivers of students in years 7 – 12, this was sent home during Term 1.

If you have any questions or problems logging in, please contact the ICT Office.

Student Reports will be available on the parent portal from 3pm this Friday 6th July.

Winter Market Stall – Wednesday 4th July 2018

Don’t forget that we will be holding our annual on the last week of Term 2; Wednesday 4 July from 2.30pm-4.00pm. There will be many tempting things for sale from both our Kitchen and Garden
such as delicious soups, jams and jellies. From the garden, there will be potted plants, fresh produce, seeds and seedlings all prepared in the garden classes this term.

Year 10 Heath & PE unit

A new semester and a new Year 10 Heath & PE unit. Today our Year 10 students were introduced to cooking on a Trangia. The unit integrates a nutrition focus with skills students will learn in Outdoor Education, a new subject offered for Year 11 in 2019.
